A group of staff from the construction team working on Phase Two of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales have completed their cycle covering the length and breadth of Wales. The team were split into two groups, one group cycling from Holyhead to Cardiff (240 miles) and another from St David’s to Cardiff (120miles). David Davis of Boyes Rees Architects said; “The idea of the cycle ride covering the lenghth and breadth of the country was to emphasise that it’s a Children’s Hospital for the whole of Wales.”

The team came together from five organisations who are working to complete the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales, Interserve Project Services, Boyes Rees Architects, Track Consulting, Opus International and Spie Matthew Hall. They arrived back at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales on the 11th June to a crowd of supporters. The group have raised over £6000 for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity’s Splish Splash Splosh campaign – now that deserves a medal!
