Meet Emily, one of the little superheroes pictured at the top of this page. Emily was admitted to hospital at only a few weeks old when she started to lose weight rapidly. What followed was a frightening 13 weeks where at several points her parents, Laura-Jane and Russell, feared she may not survive.
Thankfully Emily is now a happy, adventurous five-year-old but her mum and dad feel forever indebted to the hospital that saved her as a baby and will continue to watch watch over her throughout her childhood.
