Beauty and the Beast

As part of ITV’s Text Santa we were delighted to give the patients and staff at the Children’s Hospital for Wales an early Christmas treat. The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity was proud to host the pantomime of Beauty and the Beast.

Hailed as the greatest fairy tale of all time, this enthralling story follows the adventures of ‘Beauty’, a pretty young girl who finds herself imprisoned in the castle of a mysterious Beast. With the help of the castle’s enchanted housekeeper ‘Dusty’ a delightful and tender romance develops between these two unlikely friends and ‘Beauty’ soon learns the most important lesson of all, that true beauty comes from within.

Emilia Fox with Beauty

All the children and staff got fully involved with shouts of ‘he’s behind you’ and joining in with special dance moves and funny songs.

It was a particularly special day for Emilia Fox who had pleased everyone earlier that day by taking her medication orally for the first time in weeks. Word soon got to Beauty and the pair were soon inseparable and are now ‘the bestest of friends!’
