Earlier this month, Gareth Davies challenged himself to swim Salford Quay, Manchester, in aid of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.

The annual swim involves entrants swimming one mile in open water in a “dock to dock” course. Gareth says despite months of training, it took him some time to get used to the choppy waves of the open water and the chilly temperatures! During the challenging swim Gareth was not only surrounded by water, he may have ingested quite a bit as too!

Gareth completed the one mile swim in just over 29 minutes and came in a fantastic 529th out of the 3000 entrants! Having raised a brilliant £2050 through sponsorship, we think that Gareth has definitely Splish Splash Sploshed for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity!

Sponsor Gareth and help him raise even more for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.
