Noah’s Ark Appeal ambassador Marilyn Meisels had a very happy birthday indeed when she raised £1200 for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.
Marilyn, who works for John Lewis in London, has long supported the Charity after learning that her favourite musical artist, Dame Shirley Bassey, is a Patron. Marilyn has volunteered at events as well as donating funds, and she said: “I chose to support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity at my birthday because it is the charity of my heart.” The party, held at one of Marilyn’s local restaurants, even featured a Dame Shirley birthday cake!
Marilyn came down to Cardiff to “present” the funds to Charity Chairman Lyn Jones, who said: “Marilyn is a wonderful supporter.”
