It was hats, horses and hijinks at Chepstow Racecourse last month, as the Royal Ascot Annual Charity day raised an amazing £35,500 for Noah’s Ark.

Thanks to the hospitality at the racecourse, 300 guests enjoyed a fantastic lunch and afternoon tea watching the live racing from Royal Ascot. Thousands of pounds were raised from the Gold Cup raffle and many great auction items.

Eddie Hayward, Vice Chairman of the charity and daughter Julie, one of the Trustee’s, who organised the event, said ‘we are delighted at the fantastic amount raised for Noah’s Ark, which will be used for vital new equipment in Phase Two of the Wales’ very own Children’s Hospital.’

Keep an eye out on here for future events, and for next year’s Gold Cup Lunch!
