Our highly anticipated Hollywood Glamour Christmas Ball took place on Friday 2nd of December, at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff. Guests who included long standing supporters, patient families and hospital staff were dressed to impress in true Hollywood glamour style. The ball raised an incredible almost £10,000 for the charity’s recently launched appeal, Here for You. Money raised through the appeal will be used to expand and improve access to emotional support services for children and families by funding services like counselling, art therapy and peer support, ensuring that patients and those who care for them, get the right level of support at the point at which they need it.
The evening kicked off with a champagne drink reception while crooner Russel Jones got everyone in the festive mood with some old school Jazz classics. Guests were then treated to an evening of festive fun and ultimate Hollywood glamour, enjoying a three course meal while being serenaded by fabulous guest performers including actress, Suzanne Packer and Welsh opera star, Ellen Williams.
Our golden ticket raffle included a pair of diamond and gold earrings donated by Ali Cat Jewellery while our auction featured an Austrian getaway and a stay at Charlotte Church’s wellness retreat, plus much more!
Huge thanks to all those who attended, donated and gifted auction prizes and props. The money raised thanks to our generous guests has plaid a vital role in the Here for You Appeal’s success, which currently stands at £110,000!
