This Summer, an intrepid team of employees from Interserve, the company responsible for building Phase Two of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital, embarked on a cycle ride from Cardiff to Tenby!
The ride was organised by the site manager Chris Edmonds and friends from Spie Matthew Hall, who teamed up with 12 others to enjoy a very sunny but gruelling ride to the seaside. There was no time for building sandcastles though, the ride encompassed an impressive 200 mile round trip!
The riders enjoyed a send off from the leader of Cardiff Council to send them “on your bikes!” and wish them luck. The riders are still fundraising, but have counted close to £6,000 to date. We would like to thank Chris and all the cyclists for going the extra mile – or should that be an extra two hundred miles?!
