Lorraine Coultis – Clinical Leader in the Children’s Theatres

My name is Lorraine Coultis, I am a clinical leader in the children’s theatres. This means I coordinate the day to day running of our children’s theatre suite.

I have worked in the NHS for 32 years, 18 years in theatres at UHW.

I will help you by ensuring your visit to theatre will be as smooth as possible, in a child friendly environment, providing specialist care with the latest equipment. We will try to tailor your care to meet both yours and your family’s needs.

I love my job because I manage to meet children who have a variety of conditions, some of which are complex. I love interacting with the patients and carers. I am very fortunate to be working in such a fantastic environment with state of the art equipment, providing the best treatment and reducing worry and distress in our patients. The specialities that we cover are trauma and orthopaedics, general surgery, ears, nose and throat, oncology, endoscopy, ophthalmology and dental.
