Connie Fisher

Connie rose to fame when she won ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?’ Andrew Lloyd Webber’s reality TV show for the BBC. She subsequently played the lead role of Maria in ‘The Sound Of Music’ at The London Palladium.

Since then she’s had leading roles on stage and screen as well has hosting ‘The National Lottery’, ‘Cardiff Singer of the World’ for BBC Wales and fronting her own series for the BBC ‘Connie’s Musical Map of Wales’ and ‘Connie’s People’. She has also hosted her own show for BBC Radio Wales ‘The Connie Fisher Show’.

Hailing from Pembrokeshire, Connie has been involved with the charity from a young age and we are delighted to have her as an ambassador.
