Melanie Hamer

Melanie Hamer attended Aberdare Girls’ Grammar School, Aberystwyth University and the College of Law in Guildford before starting her career as a solicitor in Eversheds in Cardiff in 1987.  In 1996 she co-founded the first specialist family law firm in Wales which is now one of the largest specialist family law teams in the UK.  Melanie is a member of the Aberystwyth University Governance and Compliance Committee , a former Trustee of Cardiff City Football Club Foundation, a former Director of Cardiff Business Club , one of the founders of South Wales Ladies Business Club , a member of Monumental Welsh Women.

Melanie joined the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees in October 2022 and is keen to be involved in such a worthwhile charity.
