Santa's Grotto - Noahs Ark Children's Hospital Charity

VISIT SANTA AT IKEA CARDIFF

Our award winning Santa’s Grotto at IKEA Cardiff is back for 2025! No need to book, just come along and feel the magic. With all proceeds going to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.

This year, you’ll find Santa’s Grotto in its new home, right inside our Self-Serve Warehouse.

Please note – our grotto can get quite busy, and we want to make sure as many visitors as possible get to see Santa.

Top tips:

  • Visit on a weekday/weekday evening – we are open extra late on a Monday this year, so please take advantage of our quietest times if you can.

  • When you arrive, have a look at our signs to help you choose how best to arrange your visit and chat to our elves – they’re there to help.

  • On a weekend, please visit as early in the day as you can and be prepared to queue. We will have crafts, colouring, glitter and Christmas cheer to help keep you all entertained as you wait.

Please bear in mind that we do have to close our queue in time for Santa to see everyone already waiting before the end of our session.

We love our grotto, and it’s made wonderful by the amazing volunteers who give their time every day to help raise vital funds for our nation’s children’s hospital. It’s our job as a charity to look after them as well as you. We really appreciate your understanding and support.

All money raised from this event will help create brighter todays and better tomorrows for the 90,000 children cared for at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales each year. Learn more about the difference you help make to the children of Wales here.
