Young patients at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales are often called superheroes by the people who care for them. Whether they’ve been injured as a result of an accident, are receiving treatment and therapy for a long term condition or recovering from an operation or sudden illness, we see their courage and determination every day.

The Big Schools Superhero Challenge is an opportunity for your school to pull together as a community and support the 73,000 children who are treated at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales every year.  It’s a fun sporting event where children run, walk or wheel either 1k or 2k dressed as their favourite superhero in return for sponsorship.

Register today and you’ll get instant access to our resource page where you can download everything you’ll need for your event, including sponsorship forms, letter templates and posters. We’ll also provide you with an assembly presentation which links the activity to core skills in fitness, wellbeing and citizenship as well as the Curriculum Cymreig’s objectives around the development of cultural identity and belonging.

All resources are available in both Welsh and English.

Sign up below and help Wales’ only children’s hospital to provide the very best care to young patients and their families.
