Our Superhero 5K Family Fun Day is back for 2024.
Assemble the superheroes in your life and join us for our third annual Superhero extravagnza. Register for an event alert by completing the short form below and we’ll send you your sign up link as soon as registrations open on Tuesday 2 April.
Join us this June for a fun filled family day out. Take on the 5k challenge which you can run, jog, walking or wheel. Whatever way you cross the finish line, we’ll be there to celebrate your victory with you at our Heroes Village where there’ll be entertainment, music, street food, activities, character meet and greets and so much more!
In 2023, our incredible superheroes helped raise over £35,000 to create brighter todays and better tomorrows for the children of Noah’s Ark. This year, with your help, we know that we can smash that target and have the BEST time while doing it.

The Heroes Village where you will begin and end your dash is situated at the top end of Pontcanna Fields, near to the Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground.
The closest postcode for the Heroes Village itself is CF11 9XR. There is parking available at the Sophia Gardens pay and display car park pictured here. On foot from there, just head towards the SWALEC Stadium or Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground. The Heroes Village will be on your right as you enter Pontcanna Fields.
Alternatively, head towards Pontcanna Changing Rooms (CF11 9HY) where there is also a car park. From the car park, turn right and walk up the wide tree lined avenue with the fields on your left. You will see the Heroes Village in front of you on your left.
We will have a photographer on the day to capture all you superheroes and your incredible costumes. Should you wish not to be photographed we completely understand. Just make yourself known to the photographer and jump out of view of the shot.
Our Heroes Village will open at 11:30am and close at 16:00pm. Expect bouncy castles, glitter tattoos, face painting, music, pottery making, our street food vendors Keralan Karavan and Mr Croquewich plus much, much more! Plus plenty of well known characters to delight our young participants. Get there early and bring your team of supporters along to enjoy the fun.
