At Noah’s Ark we are aware that fundraising is an activity for all ages and we were happily reminded of this by the efforts of ten-year-olds Hope Hegarty and Olivia Toume.

Both girls baked and sold the cakes on their own initiative with just minimal help from their parents. Choosing Noah’s Ark was largely Hope’s idea as she was treated at the hospital whilst recovering from Meningitis. We are thrilled to hear that Hope is well again.

In total the girl’s sales raised us a delicious £24.39 which is so much more than just the icing on the cake. Their parents are extremely proud of them and it’s fair to say that we are as pleased as a cat who got the cream… cake!

Well done girls – you should be very proud of yourselves.
