There’s just one month to go, to the Family Fun Walk 2015 – sponsored by IKEA Cardiff.
If you’ve not yet registered for the event, please make haste as time is short.
We invite you, your family & friends to register and take part in our Annual Family Fun Walk. For those of you that did it last year and would like a longer walk on the day we have added a 10k walk over the barrage and around the bay, a map will be provided on the day.
This year’s Family Fun 3k or 10k Walk will be on Sunday 13th September 2015, meeting at the Norwegian Church for registration from 9.30am.
Take part in our warm up demonstrated by Maria our Zumba instructor at 10.45am then the walk will commence at 11am from the Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay. The route highlights some very picturesque scenery including the famous Doctor Who Exhibition. Fancy dress is optional and the route is suitable for buggies, wheelchairs and dogs.
Registration which is £5 per person includes a t-shirt and a bottle of water which will be supplied on the day to save incurring high postage charges. By wearing your t-shirt you will be part of our team and help us raise awareness of our charity.
A sponsorship form will be sent to you to help you raise a minimum of £35 sponsorship; all proceeds will help support the 100,000 sick babies & children in Wales who are in need of treatment every year.
- £35 raised sponsorship could allow us to give one hours cardiology treatment for the young patient.
- £50 sponsorship could allow us to give one hours hydrotherapy care for a child
- £70 raised sponsorship could pay for one bed for one hour in the paediatric intensive care unit.
Money raised by sponsorship will help make a real difference to the 100,000 vulnerable babies and children in Wales each year that need specialist and often life-saving treatment at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales .
