Linda Davies – Events Manager
I am responsible for the creation of revenue streams from the Charity’s events, campaigns and a wide range of activities. I support external 3rd party events and monitor their progress. Also, I represent the charity at functions, establish relationships and give presentations to potential corporate partners as well as schools etc.
I recruit and maintain a volunteering base to enhance and secure the success of the charity.
My previous roles include 7 years with St. Anne’s Hospice as an Events Co-ordinator which was my first third sector role – very challenging but rewarding. Prior to this I have undertaken a variety of roles including Avon Area Manager and 15 years as a manager at a Radio Rental.
An avid singer I have been involved with the Pontnewydd Ladies Choir for 17 years, attending many concerts for charity and singing on tour around Europe. I love socialising and being with my family whom I adore.
