And help us to help sick kids

By making a regular donation each month you will help make a difference to the lives of sick children all across Wales.

Children like eight year old Olivia, who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. She has spent her whole life in and out of the Children’s Hospital for Wales receiving medical treatment, physiotherapy and surgery.

Leanne, Olivia’s Mum tells us all about Olivia:

‘Olivia is a happy, fun loving, sociable little girl. For an eight year old she has had a number of hurdles to get over due to TGE Cerebral Palsy and other complications. Along with her Cerebral Palsy she suffers with Epilepsy, severe developmental delay, Ulcerative Colitis, Scoliosis and is Gastrostomy fed. She cannot speak and communicates with switches and facial expressions, her bond with family members is very strong.

Olivia has to take numerous medications to give her quality of life. She has undergone postural surgery for both hamstrings, her left hip and recently a spinal fusion to correct her scoliosis. Despite all of this Olivia still manages to raise a smile and enjoy life to the full. She is our brave princess.’

Our Buddies help us keep the promises that we make to sick children. By becoming a Buddy this Easter and giving what you can every month you help the Children’s Hospital forWalesplan for the future, and ensure that children like Olivia continue to get world class treatment for years to come.
