For the sixth year in a row, Vice Chairman Eddie Hayward has held an Ascot Ladies’ Day Lunch at Chepstow Racecourse in aid of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity. It may have rained outside but inside guests enjoyed a sumptuous three-course meal, a charity raffle, and of course a flutter on the races!
The raffle prizes, kindly donated by local businesses and by the Hayward family themselves, included a 4ft stuffed giraffe, spa vouchers, and a ride-on lawn mower.
The hat parade was an unmissable addition to the day and our Chairman Lyn Jones took part, wearing a top hat circled by animals from the ark!
Eddie’s Ascot Day is always very successful, but this year he surpassed all his previous records by raising an absolutely fantastic £30,000! We would like to thank Eddie and the Hayward family for all their hard work and dedication – and thank you to all the guests who attended in support of the Appeal. We hope you won big!
