Everyone at Noah’s Ark would like to extend warm congratulations to our Vice Chairman, Eddie Hayward, for being awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours list.
A successful Monmouthshire businessman, Eddie has been involved in the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity from its inception, and has raised well over £120,000 to help fund the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales. Eddie and his family have held their annual Gold Cup Ladies Day in aid of Noah’s Ark for five years now, and each event raises in excess of £25,000. He is also very well known in his local community, and can more often than not be seen attending cheque presentations, or assisting with fundraising by selling Christmas cards and event tickets to everyone he knows! He also donated a custom made tombola which we’ve used at many of our events.
We are so grateful to Eddie for the help and support he has given us – hours of time, hours of fundraising, and countless donations of auction and raffle prizes at our balls and luncheons.
