Noah’s Ark would like to wish everyone in the Cardiff Half, especially those running for us, the best of luck. With the weather forecast looking promising for the day runners have hardly anything to concern themselves with, all that is necessary is a good meal the night before, a decent night’s kip and the advised warm-up and stretching exercises before the race. Carbs are king when it comes to pre-race dinners, so why not go to bed on a just nicely full stomach of pasta with homemade pesto? This meal is nutritious without being stodgy and very easy to make. You can find plenty of recipes, for instance this one on the BBC website.

Good luck, and don’t forget to send in your snaps of warming up, the race, and the finish line!
