Born in Pembrokeshire, Wyn’s life-time career was in entertainment with an international reputation as a comedian, broadcaster, lecturer, and as one of Britain’s premier pantomime performers. A “King” of the Grand Order of Water Rats and Free Man of the City of London, his involvement with a variety of charities gained him an MBE in 1989.

As a founder-member of the original fundraising committee, Wyn contributed towards the creation of the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales as it stands today and continued as a Trustee for the charity for many years. Wyn passed away in January 2022. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
