Giving Tuesday 2020
Giving Tuesday is a new global day of giving and unity that took place on the 5th of May as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
The Noah’s Ark Charity has been hit hard by this crisis. We do not receive support through the NHS Charities Together fund but we are doing everything we can to continue or support of the children’s hospital, both right now and when all this is over.
How we help
There are so many types of hero at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales. There are front line teams like the play specialist service you help us fund, the amazingly dedicated and selfless parents and of course our superheroes, the children themselves. Right now we are doing all we can to support them in every way we can. We’re funding Ipads for children so they can keep in touch with families at home, little ‘pick me ups’ for staff and food for parents. But equally important to us right now is our ability to keep supporting the children’s hospital when all this over. By taking action, you’ll be helping to secure the future of the charity so we can continue to support vital services like the play specialist team.
